Jennie Tylee

Jennie first encountered Bowen Technique four years ago. Having suffered bouts of back pain for years and more recent “unbearable pain”, she was recommended Bowen by a friend. From the first treatment Jennie was amazed by the results, and after just two sessions decided that she would learn this incredible therapy. Jennie went on to train with the European College of Bowen Studies, Europe's leading and most established Bowen school. Jennie has since become interested in energetic healing and been learning about stress and its contribution to illness.

She has completed Reiki 1 and II, which she also practices at the centre

Jennie’s previous work in the medical field includes being an auxiliary nurse in Haematology where she cared for patients with Leukaemia and other blood diseases. Having also worked as a Waiting list Co-ordinator at Bristol Royal Infirmary, managing consultants diaries and waiting lists for surgery along with her Bowen work have changed her perspective of illness. Jennie believes that the use of holistic therapies, regular exercise and good nutrition can help to live a healthy and happy lifestyle.

Since qualifying Jennie has continued professional development by attending a variety of workshops including postural assessment, Alexander Technique and Spiritual Development and Soft Tissue Release.
