Pandora Pound
Before
becoming an acupuncturist Pandora worked as a research fellow in
medical schools throughout London and the South West. In 2000 she
left London to live and work on an organic farm in Somerset and soon
after began her training in acupuncture. In 2005 she visited the
Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hangzhou, to
study the way acupuncture is practiced in China. A year later she
graduated from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in
Reading, following three and a half years of training.
In 2011 she successfully completed a postgraduate course in Chinese
nutritional therapy at the College of Naturopathic Medicine and has
incorporated this valuable approach into her practice.
Pandora practises traditional Chinese acupuncture and is a member of
the British Acupuncture Council, the main regulatory body for
acupuncturists in the UK. Here at the Positive Living Centre she
runs a low cost clinic, Community Acupuncture, because she believes
acupuncture should be affordable and accessible to everyone who
needs it. She is interested in many aspects of natural healing and
recently completed a foundation course in herbalism with the
Scottish School of Herbal Medicine.

Community and Multibed Acupuncture Clinics (ACMAC)
