Why Sports Massage

Massage is a natural therapy which has been utilised since the origins of mankind and remained the principal method of treating most musculoskeletal problems for many thousands of years.

As new scientific techniques and newer treatment methods have been introduced, massage has been ovelooked to a certain degree.

However, massage can offer many benefits both physical and physiological and uniquely its versatility can be honed to the individual client, creating an effective treatment method.

Injuries suffered by sportsmen do not differ from those in many other walks of life.  If a muscle becomes strained it matters little whether it is the result of heavy lifting objects at work, digging in the garden etc.

A minor injury if not treated properly at an early stage may seriously affect a person's occupation, sports r quality of life, and can sometimes lead to a more serious condition in the longer term.
